Just click on EFI>EFI>CLOVER to see the CLOVER FileTree. Now you can see the mounted EFI Partition on the Desktop.Click Finder from Dock, click Finder on Top Menubar> Preferences> Hard Disks External Disks. That is to make Finder display connected disk's icon's on Desktop (right Side). To make this Display on the Desktop easier, you should do a step before you launch CCG.Now i dentify the Disk whose EFI Partition you want to 'mount' on the Desktop and then by click "Mount Partition' button toward its right end to display that EFI Partition on Desktop.CCG's "Mount EFI" TOOL on its Left Panel (Bottom Half) when clicked, will list all connected disks on the Top half of Right Panel and the EFIs on those disks at the bottom half of the Right Panel. The good thing about CCV or current CCG is that you don't need to run diskutil command. The Synthesized Disk has the Mojave Volume, Preboot volume, VM Volume and Recovery Volume. You will see in the Physical Internal hard disk, the whole original disk, the ~200+MB EFI Partition and the remaining Disk as Apple APFS Container. An APFS formatted disk will present a Physical Internal disk and a Synthesized Disk with Volumes. In diskutil list command of a disk Formatted in APFS, it is common to find an output unfamiliar to us who are brought up in the "Pre-APFS Formatting " era of Mac's Hard Disk Erasing. Is this correct? Is this a normal appearance of the disks created by Unibeast / Clover etc. The only EFI option is disk0s1 (see images below). I also confirmed this in Terminal using the Diskutil List command. I have downloaded Clover Configurator (Vibrant version 4.42.1 and Global Edition version 5.4.1.1) not really sure of the difference between the them. I worry that there may be copies elsewhere? Also, I wan't to confirm the correct location as I still do not have a great understanding of all the partitions / volumes created on my single physical drive. So, I reinstalled, and I am ready to try again.īefore I tweak the ist file again, I will save an original copy on the desktop. I made the mistake of trying to edit the ist file (to fix shutdown issue) without saving the original and the system promptly stopped booting into Mojave. I have successfully installed Mojave on my system after many hours using Unibeast and Clover Configurator. I am hopeful this is a very simple question / answer.
